Uses of Bromfenac+Moxifloxacin
The combination of Bromfenac + Moxifloxacin is used to treat and prevent eye inflammation and infection. It also helps in reducing eye pain, redness, itching and/or burning or stinging sensation following eye surgery (such as cataract or corneal refractive surgery).

How Bromfenac+Moxifloxacin works
Bromfenac is a pain-relieving medication. It blocks the release of certain chemicals in the body (such as prostaglandins) that causes inflammation, redness and swelling. When applied topically on the eyes, it reduces eye redness, soreness, pain, itching and swelling.
Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic. When applied topically on the eyes, it kills the susceptible bacteria that causes eye infection. Together they reduce inflammation and infection of the eyes.
Common side effects of Bromfenac+Moxifloxacin
- eye pain, itching, irritation or discomfort
- burning sensation in the eyes
- excess watering of eyes
When to consult your doctor
Consult your doctor immediately if you experience:
- severe allergic reactions, severe eye pain, redness, irritation and vision changes
- pain or swelling of tendons
Health Tips for Bromfenac+Moxifloxacin
- Wash your hands before and after application. Do not touch the tip of the container with your eyes, eyelids, areas around your eyes, outer surface of the ears or fingers, to avoid contamination. Leave a time gap of at least 5 minutes between this medicine and other eye medicines
- If you wear soft contact lenses, remove the lens before applying Bromfenac + Moxifloxacin eye drops/ointment and wait for at least 15 minutes before reinsertion
- If there is no improvement in your condition even after using Bromfenac + Moxifloxacin for 7 days, consult your doctor for advice
- Do not use this medicine after 4 weeks of its opening, even if it contains some left-over medicine
