Bromfenac is used in adults for the treatment of postoperative inflammation and reduction of postoperative eye pain in patients who have undergone cataract surgery.

Bromfenac effectively blocks synthesis of certain substances involved in causing inflammation (prostaglandin). Hence reducing the pain and inflammation after the patient has undergone cataract surgery.

• foreign body sensation in the eye
• eye pain
• eye discomfort in bright light (photophobia)
• blurred vision

• If you experience severe allergic reactions (such as skin rash, swelling of the eye, eyelids, face, lips, tongue, hands or throat leading to difficulty in breathing)
