Beclomethasone belongs to corticosteroid which works by reducing the inflammation and relieves symptoms like itching, redness, irritation and swelling by blocking the enzymes responsible for causing it (prostaglandins and leukotrienes). Fusidic acid prevents the further growth of bacteria rather than directly destroying the bacteria. It also works by blocking protein synthesis of the bacteria. Thus, destroying the bacterial growth and further spreading of infection.
