Avanafil blocks phosphodiesterase enzyme in the body and releases chemical called nitric oxide, which helps to relax the smooth muscles and blood vessels supplying the inner part of penis. This increases the supply of blood flow to the penis which helps to obtain and maintain an erect penis when an individual is sexually excited. This medicine works only if you are sexually stimulated.
