Uses of Acebrophylline+Fexofenadine+Montelukast

The combination of Acebrophylline+Fexofenadine+Montelukast is used in the management of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It can also be used to manage inflammation of the airways (such as bronchitis) and can provide relief from the symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (nasal congestion, repeated sneezing, nasal itching or a red, watery, and itchy eyes) among asthmatic patients.

How Acebrophylline+Fexofenadine+Montelukast works

Acebrophylline+Fexofenadine+Montelukast is a bronchodilator with anti-inflammatory properties. It blocks the release of certain chemicals (such as phosphodiesterase, leukotrienes) in the respiratory tract that triggers airway inflammation, swelling and narrowing. As a result, it widens the airways, and reduces airway inflammation. This allows the air to pass through more freely through the airways which makes breathing easier.
